Measuring 2-1/8 inches deep, this water heater pan is designed to be installed under gas or electric water heaters to catch potential leaks. A pre-drilled drain connection hole and included drain kit allow water to run freely from the pan to the drain, preventing the drain pan from overflowing. Each water heater pan is made of durable 25-mil-thick (20-gauge) aluminum that will not rust, ensuring it stands up to years of use. Choose from a variety of pan diameters to fit your current or future water heater (a 2-inch clearance around the diameter of the water heater pan is recommended). PVC- and CPVC-compatible drain connections are both available. In PVC models, the drain adapter fits over 1-inch and inside of 1-1/2-inch PVC pipe. In CPVC models, the drain adapter fits 1-inch CPVC pipe.
