Featuring an innovative design that allows it to be installed as either a half or a full clamp, the Water-Tite Right-Strap Plastic Multi-Functional Pipe Clamp with Preloaded Nail ensures pipes are securely installed while reducing irritating pipe noise. Designed to prevent pinning and binding and to allow for the expansion and contraction of piping, this pipe clamp supports all metal and plastic CTS (copper tube size) tubing and is available in sizes that fit 1/2-, 3/4-, or 1-inch pipe. When installed as a half clamp, it provides a 3/32-inch gap between the pipe and the wood framing, helping to greatly minimize pipe noise common to overly restrictive systems. The clamp comes with a preloaded nail for quick installation. Caution! Some CPVC tubing manufacturers advise against using "single nail talon type straps" that tend to overly restrict motion for thermal expansion, citing such use as unacceptable. However, Right Strap™ Multi-Functional Pipe Clamps do not pin tubing to stud nor restrict its motion. Right Strap Multi-Functional Pipe Clamps supports copper, PEX, polybutylene and ideally isolates CPVC tubing from wood framing.
